My user manual was destroyed in a flash flood. ( TV not involved) However my cable equipment was destroyed so everything must be reprogrammed to work properly. Without my users manual I am finding I can't accomplish this task. Thus I need a replacement for my LG 32LH30 TV

search the code of your TV from the user manual of your remote.

The USB port on TV's is to record a program onto a Flash Drive/Thumb Drive,
which then you can plug the Flash Drive into your Computer to watch or download it on your PC.

You will have to disconnect the TV from the AC outlet for a few seconds(10-20) then reconnect the TV and press power. You should get the start up menu after you get a picture. What you have to do is use the vol up/dn , chnl up/dn keys to select the autoprogram setting after chosing from cable or antenna signal. the enter key should be one of the DVD keys either play or stop or some other key, you'll have to experiment a little with it. You took the TV out of the mode for either satellite or cable and it need to be reset . check the user manual for the setting.
You didn't give model number for the unit/ I may be able to get you the instruction for you to reprogram the tv.
