I have an Electric Smoothtop slide in Range (JES88850) - I last used the oven 2 days ago with no issues. Now I can't get it to turn back on - when I touch any of the buttons on the left side of the display (ie. Bake/Convect/Broil/etc) it just beeps but nothing happens. The clock is working on the display. The stovetop is also working fine. Any ideas?

shut down the power to the machine,disconnect the touchpad ribbon,turn the power back on and let it sit for a day,if the code comes back you have a bad board,if it doesn't come back you have a bad touchpad

most ovens usually have 2-3 screws located along bottom edge of the smoothtop in the front..check the far left and far right corners in the front /if all screws are removed,you may need to pull slightly forward then raise

that clicking usually means that the erc is trying to turn on the burners,
i would unplug the range
pull it out and check all the connections of the bake element
