How do I reset the Lamp Timer on a Sony Wega KF-50WE620 TV?

This model does not have a lamp timer.

follow your manual or take it to Sony office near you if any

it could be the lamp but it might also be what is called the color wheel.. have you checked the lamp .,, have you removed and physically looked at the lamp. also does the light blink after shutdown.

Go to MCM.com . You can get a Philips replacement bulb for $99.00. You have to remove it from the holder.

Needs a new lamp or an optical block rebuild. May aslo have dust on the parts inside making the picture darker than normal

hello if you go into menu in picture adjustments half way down there should be a reset option this should make the picture brighter

5 blinks code shows problem with Lamp Drive circuit (ballast supply) and / or Lamp itself.
How old is this TV and have you replaced lamp before?
