Oh yeah... know them well The IGBT transistors fail, the sand coated resistors blow open... replace as a pair. The driver transistors get blown... 2SA1020's and 2SC2655-Y's. One or more of the gate speedup diodes for the IGBT's get blown. The switching reg chips, IR2153 is usually gone. and more...

Here is your service manual: http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_europower-p0569_hca2400_sps1000_dpx_pmp-1280s_5000_sch.pdf/download.html

You will likely find that one of the power amps has shorted... been there, done that several times. Usually the channel A (rearmost) power amp shorts takeing out the 9140 Mosfets and other parts. Often an internal short between an interior and upper layer of the amp circuit board is the fault that causes all this. Use a light bulb (150 watt) in series with the power input when testing after repair. Use an isolation transformer when working on the supply for personal safety. When supply is running again, discharge the 70 volt source caps before plugging onto the amp to avoid welding arcs at the connectors. I have seen the supply hold charge for several days.

After a gig, I accidentally plugged my monitor sends 1 and 2 on my PMP5000 to the outputs of an external power amp, and powered it up.... I realized my mistake, plugged it in correctly, and now the monitor...

You blew the driver chip for those sends... NEVER plug the outputs of power amps into a mixer period... These chips are surface mounted and you will probably/maybe have to take the main board out of the mixer unless they are on the bottom side... I have several of these mixers and I might be able to uncover the main board of one I have open... Here is the schematic for the PMP5000:

Scroll down to "get manual" and click to download... IGNORE other download links on the page. It looks like you might have blown IC8 on page 5 which is one of the monitor sends. It is a standard NJM4580 chip... a little dual op amp that is SURE to be surface mounted. There is a possibility that capacitor C60 and its mate for MON2 may have been blown so check those. If the board has to come off the front panel... "enjoy" pulling off all the knobs, removing the nuts on the 1/4 inch connectors and possibly the screws from the XLR connector to get the panel separated... Been there, done that...Maybe you will luck out and the part will be mounted on the back of the board... Let me know if you need more help... fredy2 on aol.com

There are two resistors 310-3 10R on the power supply of the Europower pmp 5000, i need to know if it is 330k or 330om.

The schematic for the power supply does NOT show resistors in the 310-3... Where are these in the circuit... IF THESE happen to be the gate drive resistors for the IGBT's they are 33 ohms. If you have hasd a failure in this area there are other parts that typically get destroyed, including one or both the speedup diodes at the same gates; Here is the complete PMP5000 schematic:

Need part # for the Program Push Button Control for the effects on a PMX2000 power mixer

You will have to call Behringer in Woodinville WA to get the Behringer part number. Their phone is:

(425) 939-3200
With the number plus an incident number that Behringer will give you, you then call FullCompass who is the parts distributor... Then, unless they have it in stock, plan to wait a long time to get the part. FullCompass phone:

800-356-5844
Lots of luck... I have waited for three months for parts.

My pmp6000 wont work in mon1/ mono mode. I have one speskon channel going to two mains and the other to two monitors Can't get sound.

OK... from the schematics it appears that when in mon1/mono mode you use ONLY the MON1 gain controls, including the channel MON1's and the MON1 slider. Make sure you have each of those turned up as needed. In this mode, MON2,s and the MON2 slider are unused. The MONO slider controls the MAIN output.

How to set up my power mixer?

First thing is to read my tip regarding a speaker polarity hazard of the PMP mixers.

Second thing is to VERIFY speaker cables are properly connected.

If you are using in stereo mode set the slider switch to MAIN L/Main R.

describing all possible configurations is not possible on here, but read your manual with this. If you don't have a manual, download one for free.

I have a Pmp5000 889406987784 Eurowpower PMP5000 1200-Watt 20-Channel Mixer and Speaker Output A has no output. What has happened?

Usual problem is the Channel A amplifier has burned and blown the switching transistors. Usually an internal board arc occurs and unless very skilled at board work of clearing the burned area and replacing the components you are better to replace the HCA2400 amplifier module... about $160

Hello; I have a used Behringer pmp5000 mixer. The

Without knowing how you have your monitors configured it is hard to analyze what you have posted.

In brief, SW3 on the schematic that selects MAIN L and MAIN R in the upper position, MAIN and MONITOR in the middle, and bridged in the lower is used to configure the internal amps.

In the upper position, the amp power outputs come from the mixed stereo bus and are simultaneously controlled as a stereo signal by the MAIN slider.

In the middle position MAIN and MONITOR, the left amp receives the signal from the mix bus and is controlled by the MAIN slider. The MONITOR output from the other side of the power amp is controlled ONLY by possibly the "MONO" slider.

The schematics are hard to decode and what is needed is a signal flow diagram.

For my uses, I don't try to use splitting the power amps between mains and monitor but prefer to use the mains together with SW3 in the upper position (Note your 27 may be refering to the user manual designation for same switch). I then use another small amp from the 1/4 inch MONITOR jacks whcih are under control of the MONITOR sliders.
Please note that the MIX for these two MONITOR channels is controlled by the MON1 and MON2 knobs for each channel.
