I have just bought this make of laptop which included windows 7 I asked to have this downloaded in english but is has come up with spanish wording how can i get back to the beginning of the download so that i can have windows 7 in english, thankyou and regards

Seems like Language on your computer is set to Spanish
You need to re-install Windows and during setup, select English as Language
Alos you can restore this computer to factory defaults as its brand new and you can then choose language.

Change from spanish to english
what version of Windows do you have on the PC - this will be found on a label on the bottom of the PC
some versions of windows cannot be changed language - windows 7

Hi is the keyboard itsedlf Spanish or just the local set to Spanish? If its a Spanish keyboard on your laptop it could be expensive to change and certainlynot easy on a laptop, If its the locale settings under a Windows o/s then goto control panel, regional & language, and set your keyboard to English under there.

The @ is at Alt-Gr + Q
now to change it to spanish you will have to reinstall a spanish operating system. If its a new laptop, with a legal operating system, then i would try to trade it with the manufacturer.
