The easiest way is to get on a different computer with internet access. There are several free password recovery tools. You need to find the one that works best for you. They require setting up a bootable cd. It is not difficult.
The only other way is to reinstall the operating system. You can do this without deleting your old files but you will need to reinstall any software applications if you choose this way.
If you are running windows XP or older reboot the computer and tap the "F8" key until a boot menu appears, select safe mode then you can log in as administrator with out a password and reset your password under the user accounts under the control panel like normal. If you are running windows vista or 7 you will need to download stealth XPE or an other such 3rd party linux based password recovery software.
