Hey, ever since my system upgraded to explorer 9, it has been really slow, why is it doing this, i just bought my computer a week ago and i dont download anything, so what would be the reason for it slowing down, it slows down when i get onto google can you help me figure out what the issue is?

You need to have bought your computer in mid June or so, after the 11th of the month. Go to the up to date place on Apple's website and see if you qualify if you dont it will be 20 dollars to purchase from the Apple Store.

It is simple to solve by pressing F8 when booting up and running your computer on safe mode. Safe mode will fix some errors because of some faulty drivers or multiple drivers installed with the same drivers.

After that restart again you computer and then defragment your computer by going to start menu, choose accessories, choose system tool, choose disk defragment. Do it every week and surely will run your computer faster.

Try resetting internet explorer.Click onThe tool option,go down to internet option go to advance click Restore Defaults on the general page choose delete and delete your history,cookies etc.

You might try re-installing IE. Maybe a new installation will debug. It won't do any harm...

the PC is most likely bloated with lots of useless software, viruses, malware etc, but upgrading ram will give the biggest increase in performance, I would reccoment atleast 1 GB for windows XP systems and 2 GB for windows vista systems.

hey, your best bet is upgrading the ram, if its ddr 2 will cost about 25-30 pounds for a extra gb, which will make it run a bit smoother. noone ever upgrades processors on laptops as your usually restricted to what u can uppgrade it too or costs too much.
i would suggest the memory upgrade...

When you're running an average load, start Task Manager and view the performance tab. If the amount of free RAM is low, then definately upgrade your RAM. Plus, nowadays it's really cheap to upgrade ram.
As far as upgrading your processor, that can get a little tricky and expensive.
Also, what do you mainly use your computer for, and what operating system do you use?

It sounds like you've already started doing some things that can help you discover what is causing this problem, and that's good, but before I offer any more ideas, can you please tell me two things:

1. How much RAM (memory) does your computer have?

2. How much total hard disk space does your computer have, and of that, how much is available?

YEAH THE PROCESSOR IS BIT SLOW FOR GAMES TO RUN PROPERLY.

I WOULD SUGGEST U TO BUY MOTHERBOARD THATS INTEL 965G AND CORE2DUO PROCESSOR.

U DONT NEED TO UPFRADE THE RAM AND VIDEO CARD U CAN USE THEM IN NEWLY UPGRADED MOTHERBOAD AND PROCESSOR.

I AM SURE U WILL ENJOY GAMES IF U UPGRADE ONLY OTHERBOARD AND PROCESSOR.REST ALL IS FINE.
