Try Checking your remote and make sure it did not short out by taking out the batteries and see if it continues turning on and off. if so then i would recommend replacing the remote. if this does not work try putting tape over the ir receiver and see if it continues, this will check for interference.

TRY UNPLUGING SET FROM THE WALL FOR 1 MINUTE. PLUG SET BACK IN AND CHECK. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS TAKE IT TO A QUALFIED SERVICER. UNIT PROBABLY HAS A DEFECTIVE MAIN TOTAL ASSY.

Technika flat screen tv forgets digital channels found if switched to standby

Channel memory of stored channels is contained in a Eprom which may be part of the microprocessor------voltage when set is shut off is often from either the standby supply or even a filter cap that holds sufficient charge to maintain voltage for the memory.

Look in those areas first.

An alternate way would be to go to a box and input signal to rear audio and video jacks---the box would then retain channel memory etc and this would bypass your issue.

If you switch your tv of at the plug the software cant do the updates. Leave the tv in standby over night and that should work.
If you do leave it on standby but still losing channels contact goodmans as you may need an update of the software

Hi. I have the sharp tu-tv 322h which I bought from someone else. Its been sat in its box for a year unused and so when i switched it on and set it up i could only get one or two channels. The others were...

You should be able to get all the standard freeview channels without bothering with TopUP TV.

Follow the Instructions on Page 24 of the Manual at the link below.

http://www.tradenet.sharp.co.uk/files/Consumer_Electronics/DTR/TUTV322H/TUTV322H279.pdf

If this doesn't tune all the Stanadard Freeview Channels then you're not getting a strong enough signal for this unit so it won't be able to upgrade the TopUP TV side of it.
