Try opening your email from another working computer. The message is telling you that it cannot find the server "mrd.mail.yahoo.com". I am not sure where you are located, but the incoming server for yahoo email is typically just: mail.yahoo.com or in some instances: incoming.mail.yahoo.com.
I am not sure what the mrd you have before the mail is supposed to be for. You can also try removing the mrd from the incoming server line in the email settings and then try to open your email again.

You are getting these error messages because of the weak browser Internet Explorer is.
If you are keen to keep it I suggest you update it to the latest version.
But if you need a faster, more secure and more efficient browser try Mozilla Firefox.

Whenever i opened yahoo mail it displays "Automatic page updates causing problems with your screen reader?".the page looks larger than ever.even im unable to read the mails listed in Inbox.it...

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

1) Delete your cache.

2) Click the red X at the top right side to close your browser. Then, open your browser again. If this does not solve your problem, and you use Internet Explorer then:

3) Update Internet Explorer to a newer version (IE 8 for 32-bit systems or IE9 for 64-bit systems), or
4) Download and try Google Chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome ;or
5 Download and try Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/

My yahoo email is giving me this error message "Ouch! The error, LaunchEmptyResponse, occurred when trying to connect to Yahoo! Mail. " How can I resolve this issue?

do not try to resolve the issue. wait for some time before trying to connect to yahoo mail.

if the problem persists (unlikely) then access the www.yahoo.com page, and see if you are logged in. You username will be visible somewhere in the top 1 inch on the screen if you are logged in.
If that happens, simply click "log out", refresh the page (press F5) and try after some time

Cannot open Yahoo Mail, get error message "cascade

I would try the basics first, if the retry doesn't work and switch to classic doesn't work.

You can go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and download FireFox. This will work, that is what I'm using now.

Or I just found out the the Beta version of Internet Explorer 9 is working ok with yahoo. You can get that at http://www.beautyoftheweb.com/

Periodically, yahoo or microsoft will send out an update that will not work. it will be fixed, it is just a matter of time.

Yahoo mail not working

Hi, it seems that the DNS is not taking you to the desired website. You can run a command "ipconfig /flushdns" from command prompt without quotes. (Start Menu -> Run ->cmd). Once done try to check the website once again (http://mail.yahoo.com/). If you are not able to open the website again, I would recommend you to reset your internet browser. Hoping that you are using Internet Explorer as your internet browser, open Internet Explorer, then click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab ->RESET. Follow the steps to reset your Internet Explorer. You can alternatively do it from Control Panel -> Internet Options ->Advanced Tab ->Reset. Once done successfully, you will be able to open your websites smoothly.
Cheers!
