My cp nokia 2680s-2 if you turn it on all you can see is white screen.. i dont know how to format it..what is the of formatting?

its because that phone does not support that file. very unlucky!

This is the step for full format of your phone please rate me if i help.. Just follow what ive said turn off the cp, hold the following buttons ( call, * and 3 ) then turn on the cp without unholding the said buttons until the nokia logo ends.. hope it helps

1. MANUALLY.

1. OPEN MENU>SETTING>PHONE SETTING>FACTORY SETTING.
2. PRESS O.K. A MENU WILL POP UP LIKE YOU LAST ALL YOUR DATA PRESS O.K.
3. IT WILL ASK FOR CODE ENTER CODE( DEFAULT CODE IS 12345).
4. PRESS OK IT WILL DO FORMAT YOUR PHONE.

2. USING CODE.

1. DIAL *#7370# ON MAIN SCREEN.
2. A MENU WILL POP UP LIKE FORMATTING PHONE.
3. PRESS OK IT WILL ASK FOR CODE ENTER 12345 AND PRESS OK
4. IT WILL DO FORMAT FOR YOU.

3.METHOD NO.3(FOR S60 SERIES MOBILE)

1. SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE.
2. WHILE SWITCHING ON PRESS THREE BUTTON AT THE SAME TIME.(1.GREEN DIALING KEY 2.*KEY,3 KEYPAD NO. 3 KEY) WITH POWER ON BUTTON.
3. A MESSAGE WILL POP UP LIKE FORMATTING. HOLD BUTTON FOR 3 SECONDS AND RELEASE THEM AFTER THAT.
4. YOUR PHONE WILL RESTART AND ALL YOUR DATA WILL BE GONE

How to Format Nokia N72, N73, N81, N95, NSeries Mobile Phones. Method 1: Three Finger Reset for Nokia Phone1. Switch off your Nokia phone.
2. Hold down the following three keys, Green (call answer button) * Key, and Number ‘3? key.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 2: Hard Format of Nokia Mobile Phone1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 3: Soft Reset of Nokia Mobile Phone1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7780#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Please Note: The Above Nokia Phone Formatting method will erase all your Phone data. So do backup before proceeding for Formatting

CAUTION: if u have any valuable data on ur phone plz dont try this .
first charge ur battery until its full
next switch ur phone on while pressing the green key ,the 3 key and the * key.
hold these till a screen saying 'formatting' comes
allow it to format
it may take 5 mins
dont remove battery or phone system will bcome corrupted

try and format your cell....its a simple procedure just turn off your cell and then press 3 * and the call button together and then holdin these three in place turn on ur cell n do keep them pressed till u dont see a screen sayin formating or ur phone doesnt start.
the problem with this is u vl liise all ur information on the phone memory...
if even this not work then get it checked may ur screen needs to be changed
