Hi,

Please make sure that the fridge door is shutting properly and there are no busted lights within your unit. If so, please check that you've not recently changed the temperature of the fridge more than 20 to 30 degrees and then reference the error code table in your manual to find an alternative solution to this issue.

We have a 1999 Hurricane Motorhome. What would cause a big bulge inside our Norcold refrigerator. It appears something must have been hot to make a big bubble inside the fridge. Thank you. Sharon

Contact the Norcold factory.
That may take you a while.
I suspect the fridge is an automatic defrost.
If so, they have heating coils inside the walls.
If one stuck on, that could cause that.
Type Norcold into your computer search engine.

Why is it flashing code C2?

Without a model or even a brand I am guessing but it sounds like you have a Norcold and the evaporator thermistor is not operating

Norcold fridge in my motorhome

Norcold fridges are now part ofThetford one of the largest suppliers of mobile and marine products. You do not quote the model so not sure if a 3 way (gas/mains/12v) or AC/DC. The most common problem with all mobile fridges is the heater unit is faulty. Thetford have discontinued spares for a large range of norcold models. Information can be obtained on the Thetfold.com website.

Fridge will not work on AC mode. AC is present into fridge.

There should be a code appearing on the display. If you are not getting any 12V to the Fridge your fridge will not function. You may also want to check for any blown fuses inside the electronic board assembly. ">

Norcold fridge berps and display says No flame

check for a gas shut off inside the fridge cabinet as well. You may have to bleed all the air out of the lines before the fridge will get gas. either keep trying or run stove burners to make sure gas is working. Also look for debris inside the burn chamber near the thermocouple/pilot light.
I had rust fall from the exhaust tube and block the burner area. Cleaned it up and it works fine now.

Norcold model 1200LRIM. Unable to select AC or LP mode. Auto is only option. Fridge frequently quits in Auto mode. No error codes. Display just goes blank. Battery connections are good; voltage is good....

Try to unplug it from the battery a few hours and then plug it back in and see if you are now able to select the AC or LP mode. There has been a recall on the 1200LRIM, The defect is a potential cooling unit leak caused during AC electric mode operation. Click on the link below to read more:

I have a Norcold gas/electric Fridge in my rv. The model number is 8662. I had th rv parked in my driveway and didn't realize the fridge was on. My driveway is no where near level and the fridge stopped...

Shut it down, level it up and wait 24 hrs before turning it back on.

I have a norcold fridge model #N811RT and the flash code blinks 5 times then stops then repeats. both fridge and freezer are not cold were are currently living in are 5th wheel and it was currently -30c for 3 days any help would be of assistence.

My refer was displaying error code C2...I troubleshot it and found that C2= "no 120 VAC" coming off the board for heaters. Heaters were good (checked out with Ohm meter) so it had to be on the board. Turned out to be easy...about only parts on the board that could cause this problem was a S.P.S.T. relay...purchased from Digi-key for $1.70...beats the price of a new board nearly $500. Been working fine now for about 2 weeks.
