How do I make my wbr 1310 router secure

Type 192.168.0.1 on the address bar of your browser and open up that site. If its asking you to login, make use of "admin" for the username and password. Next, click on wireless setup and then click "manual wireless connection setup" then enable the Wireless Security Mode and it may ask you to setup your wireless network key which will be the one that your going to use if your going to connect a PC to your wireless network.

Forgot my network security key

If you forgot the security key to your wireless connection, connect your pc (or mac!) to the router with an ethernet cord. In the web browser (like internet explorer, firefox, etc) type in 192.168.1.1- you should get a prompt asking for user name and password- by default the user name is admin and the password has nothing- that should get you into the router. Once there, click on the link for wireless and then wireless security- your network key would be listed right there.

Forgot D-Link 1310 wireless password - how do I retrieve it

What password? Are you referring to the WEP or WPA-PSK password? If yes, I would like to inform you that no one could give you the exact WEP or WPA key. Even if you check the utility of the router.

What you need to do is to reset the router to factory default and then reconfigure the router. That's the only way that you could do in order to set a new password.

Have a good evening!

D-LINK WBR 1310 ROUTER

Go the router setup page, 192.168.0.1, type admin as the user name and password as the password (default, if you have changed these use your login info).
Then on the wireless page change the SSID (router name).
You can also add a security key on this page.
