Back button is malfunctioning. It goes back on anything i do. Can i disable the back button?

We just had the same problem. There are hidden buttons to the left and right of the display. According to the service manual, this message is displayed when pressing the hidden button to the left of the display.

Assuming that the left hidden button is stuck in the "pressed" position, I powered off the coffee maker, disconnected the ribbon cable from the front buttons and powered on the coffee maker again. The problem did not come back but disconnecting the ribbon cable disables all of the buttons on the front. So I connected it back again and ordered a new front button panel.

If that doesn't fix the situation you can disable standby by going to the control panel> Power Options, select each theme and disable standby, also goto the advanced tab and make sure your power button doesn't cause your computer to go into standby. Note that disabling standby doesn't actually fix the issue, it just disables standby.

My sony HD TV started automatically flipping to the memory stick screen by itself. check the menu button on front panel(if available) if theres a sign of stock up.compare it to other button ch up ch down etc.this may cause the menu to pop up and disable all button even the remote control. but in rare case,the system control chip may be malfunctioning.hope this help u...
