This is because you are trying to use a sim card other than the one provided my the original provider you need to take the phone back to the orginal provider and have them unlock it, they may charge you or they may do it for free, or you can get a sim card from the original provider as this will work, the only other method is to find an unlock calculator. I found this one but I have not tested it.

Unfortunately, you cannot unlock your phone if the phone is locked a specific network provider. You must contact your network provider regarding this matter.
