AutoPlay is a Windows XP feature. The AutoPlay setting may not be working properly in your Operating system. This situation is not the result of a faulty camera or FinePix Viewer software. Solution We suggest running the Microsoft AutoPlay Repair Wizard utility which is available as a free download from the Microsoft Download Center. The AutoPlay Repair Wizard scans your computer devices to find defective AutoPlay settings, and attempts to fix those it finds. To download this utility, please go to the Microsoft Download Center and enter "AutoPlay" in the Keyword box.

Can not down load photos into computer. Have cord also disk

install the driver from the disk ..and after that connect the camera to teh computer ..it will start the install wizard and after that will prompt you and say that the device is installed and ready to use..Be sure during all these operations the camera is charged and on ...some cameras will ask for confirm on the display in the moment of the plugging ...confirm the pc connect and thats all...Either will start an autoplay asking you what you want to do ...open containing folder or import using wizard ..or will do nothing and in this case ..if there was a software on the disk run it ..and import using it ..if there wasn't any import manager on the disk ..than you should use a photo manager like ACDsee..cause it has a import from device feature..(you can also use the windows picture manager ..if you have it installed..
or...usually after finishing the installation and restart the computer you will find the device or the removable storage inside the my computer folder..just open it and copy pictures from it into computer ..

I want to know if I can use the eject

The fix is simple...use a separate card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. Here's mine....it's $13 at Walmart, reads 32 different cards and is compatible with pc and mac. 1d9c8e1.jpg

How do i download picture from camera to computer and print

Plug the USB connector into the camera and the PC
The “Found New Hardware” help message should appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
This message will close when the settings are completed. No action is required.
This step is not required for subsequent connections.
Specify the settings in the “AutoPlay” dialog box.
When FinePixViewer is included in the list of actions to perform
Select “Viewing images using FinePixViewer” and then select the “Always do the selected ction” checkbox. (This checkbox may not be shown in some cases.)
Click the [OK] button to launch FinePixViewer.
When the camera and computer are exchanging
data, the self-timer lamp blinks and the viewfinder
lamp blinks alternately green and orange.
“≥” appears on the LCD monitor.
Power Save and Auto Power Off are disabled during USB connection.
Do not disconnect the USB cable when the camera is communicating with the PC.
If the above operations do not occur, you do not have the required software programs or drivers installed on your PC. Complete the required PC setup procedures. Then reconnect the camera to your PC.
Switch your PC on.
Use the USB cable (included) to connect the camera to your computer.
Switch the camera on.
Take care to ensure that the included USB cable is connected the correct way around and that the plugs are pushed fully into the connection sockets.
And if this wasn't clear enough, here is the user manual for you.

The setup wizard on the CD will not automatically run when inserted in the CD-ROM drive, what do i do?

  1. click on start
  2. My computer
  3. right click on CD/DVD Drive
  4. Left click auto run

selecting My Computer, right-clicking the drive that contained the CD-ROM, and selecting Properties. click the AutoPlay tab and select the Select an action to perform option, then double-click the program to use to run the CD-ROM. This action launched the program on the CD-ROM. Note that simply highlighting the program you want to use and clicking OK or Apply doesn't work; you must double-click the program and force it to launch on the CD-ROM or DVD in the drive. The CD-ROM then ran automatically, using the program associated with it on the AutoPlay tab.
