I have a Kodak EasyShare Z981 camera. It says my internal memory is full. What do I do?

You have to transfer the pictures and videos in the internal memory to your computer. For this you have to download and install Kodak software on your computer.

( Make sure the computer is connected to the Internet. When you connect the camera to the computer, the KODAK Software Downloader automatically runs. Follow the prompts to download and install KODAK Software.)

Please follow the steps below to connect your camera to your computer;
1. Turn off the camera.
2. Use the KODAK Camera USB Cable, U-8 to connect camera to computer. (Use only the cable included with this camera!)
3. Turn on the camera.
After the software is installed, follow the prompts to transfer pictures and videos to your computer.

* If the downloader does not run, find and launch it:
• WINDOWS OS: in My Computer
• MAC OS: on your Desktop

Note: You can use the Memory card to save the pictures and videos taken on your camera. In this case you can also use a card reader to transfer your pictures/videos.This prevents the user from connecting the camera every time to transfer data.Eject the memory card and insert it into the card reader.

Please feel free to ask your doubts. Thanks for choosing Fixya.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated.

Can't connect my Kodak C613 digital camera to my computer.

For solving your problem it is necessary to remove your Easyshare Software completely from your system. Afterwards you need to install the latest version of Easyshare Software. Please follow the steps below: Remove Easyshare Software Click on 'Start' -> 'Settings' -> 'Control Panel' -> 'Software' Please choose 'Kodak Easyshare Software' Please choose 'remove' Please click on 'next' when installation wizard shows up Please choose 'remove' and click on 'next' Please click on 'next' to start the removal of your Easyshare Software. Please make sure that all files of your Easyshare Software has been removed from your system successfully. For remaining the progress please go to step 2. Even if you couldn’t remove the software or it is still in the list. For running Kodak Clear Utility: Please go to www.kodak.com/go/clear and follow instructions given on screen. Click on 'download'-button below on screen. Please choose 'open' and follow instructions given on screen. Please choose option 'save as' after choosing the download option to run clear utility from your PC. Please choose a save path. Open file clear5N.exe after file has been saved. Click on green starting arrow. The programme is running now. Please note! Please click on 'Ok' should messages appear for which you only have 'Ok' as an option that will make sure that you still run the programme. Should you been asked to restart your computer, please choose 'NO'. You receive the following message when the programme has finished: 'Easyshare files have been removed. Please reinstall Easyshare after system reboots'. Your computer will be restarted now. This action removes Easyshare Software from your system but it won’t delete any pictures or videos. But there is the possibility that you have to recreate your collection after reinstalling the Software. We recommend to download always the latest version of Kodak Easyshare Software. You have either the option to download the software free of charge by following the link: http://wwwuk.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn026079.jhtml?pq-path=4509

What exactly is a kodak camera dock? I have a M893 IS kodak camera and having difficulty installing the software so I can transfer my photos to computer - so I thought maybe the "kodak camera jack" would...

The Kodak camera dock provides automatic battery charging and automatic connection to your computer when the camera is "docked." There is also a version of the dock that includes a printer, but I have found the printer to be poor quality and very unreliable. The dock must be connected to the computer via USB, and the Kodak EasyShare software must still be installed. The dock is a very handy accessory, but it will not solve your problem. What might help though is a visit to Kodak.com where you can get a free download of the latest EasyShare software that is correct for your operating system.

Drivers to kodak m863 easyshare for win98

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Why can't my computer communicate with my digital camera?

The cause and solution may include one of the following: There is a problem with the configuration of the USB port on the computer.See the USB.html file on the EasyShare software CD. The camera is off. Turn on the camera. The battery is not charged. Recharge the battery. Some Advanced Power Management utilities on laptops turn off ports to save battery life. See the power management section of the laptop User's Guide to disable this feature. The USB cable is not securely connected. Connect the cable from the camera to the computer port. The software is not installed. Install the software. The software is installed incorrectly. Do the following to install the software correctly: Disconnect the USB cable. Close all open programs. Uninstall, then reinstall the software. (To uninstall, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs.) Too many programs are running on the computer. Do the following to close all running programs: Disconnect the camera from the computer. Close all software programs. Reconnect the camera. The Battery Monitor or similar software runs constantly. Close the software before starting Kodak EasyShare software.
