Hello! I have a Kenmore refrigerator model #10656576400. It stopped making ice for a while but then started up again. Now it is leaking water and filling up the tray underneath the ice cube mold. Is it filling the ice cube tray up too full? I don't know what the problem seems to be.

The first thing to check would be the water fill valve located usually on the back outside of the unit where the water line comes in, these can start leaking water slowy into the icemaker. The icemaker itself tells the valve how long tostay opened, that can be adjusted by a tech or you may need to replace the icemaker

My Kenmore coldspot 71182100 which is almost 9 years old just started leaking water from the freezer onto the shelves in the fridge. I just cleaned out the freezer and got the ice out. There was not...

I have a Kenmore Coldspot Model #69207990 and have the same problem. Water from the freezer drains into the refridgerator onto the shelves and sheets of ice form. A repairman pointed out that the tube leading down from the freezer onto the drain pan was frozen. By pouring hot water down the tube, he reopened this drain line. Problem solved for six months and the drain line froze again. My question is how to stop this drain line from freezing up again.

there are 2 pipes going from the pump at the bottom of your unit ... 1 to the ice maker and the other to the filter for water.
make sure the pip for the ice make is tight in the connector of the valve ... let me know...

Water works the ice is not

Your water valve is stuck open. Is it for the ice maker or the water dispenser? It could be the switch in the door calling for water instead of the valve. Does it stop when you unplug the refrigerator?
