How to Turn Off Safe Mode on Windows Vista

The Safe Mode is used to detect the technical and software problems in windows Vista. This is an effecting way to diagnosing the problem, that's why most of the technicians prefer this way to resolve the problem. But Safe Mode disables the most of the advance functionality of your computer. So use the Safe Mode only for diagnosing the problem and as you diagnose and repair the problem get back your windows to normal mode.

For reverting back to normal mode at windows Vista, an option occurred which has to be select within limited time and if you select the Normal Mode option within this limited time, your windows will revert back successfully but if you waste the time, you have to restart your computer again for getting this option. You can select the Normal Mode option through arrow keys or by pressing the number at which the Normal Mode will appear.

Sometime your computer does not display the Mode Selection Menu. This is not a problem you can get this menu and revert back your windows Vista into Normal Mode through the following instructions.

Instructions
If you want to revert your Windows Vista into Normal Mode from the Safe mode but your system is not giving you option to select the mode, follow the given instructions:

Restart Your Computer: To restart the computer you need to take the following step:
- Click on "Start" button at the left side of Task Bar. In Safe Mode of windows Vista the Start button appears at the same place where it appears in the Normal mode. Select "Turn Off Computer" from the Start Menu. Then, Select 'Restart" from the pop-up menu.
When your computer has been shut down place your finger at F8 key. As your computer starts to boot computer devices for restarting your computer, press F8 key again and again unless a menu appears on the screen. This menu is Mode Selection Menu.

Note: If your computer won't give you Mode Selection Menu at the screen that's means you have lost the time of getting option. In this condition restart your computer again and again, and then press F8.

When you get Mode Selection Menu on your computer screen, stop pressing F8 key. Now choose the Normal Mode from the list by the following method:
- You can select the Normal Mode by pressing the number on which Normal Mode appears in the list.
- You can select the Normal Mode manually through the Arrow Keys. Press the down key to reach at the Normal Mode option in the list and press Enter.

Then wait for a while to reboot your Windows Vista in Normal Mode.
This is the method of changing Mode in windows Vista. You can follow these instructions at any time to revert your windows Mode.

A blue screen with white writing appears on my computer,
just before windows is about to begin and it reads:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut
down to prevent damage to your computer.

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error
screen restart you're computer.
If this screen appears again follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is
properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask
your hardware/software manufacturer for any windows
updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly
installed hardware/software. Disable BIOS memory options
such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe
mode to remove or disable components, restart your
computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options,
and then select safe mode.

I cannot go into windows even in safe mode, and I don't
know how to execute any of the other things it's telling
me to do.

It may have something to do with my virtual memory as
windows had to increase it while I was playing a computer
game, or because I added some extra pictures I downloaded
to a computer game folder where the default pictures were
already stored.

if u cant do these then reinstall the operating system.

cannot get on line in safe mode

safe mode is normally used to troubleshoot problems especially software and drivers. where you use this the computer boots up with minimum software running so you can fix problems. I am sure the modem or network drivers are not loaded and ect.

installing hp webcam 2100 and it has arcsoft magic i visual effects software. using windows 7 x64 and when this program is installed it grabs control of all usb ports and shuts them down. printer/mouse/external drive all become unrecognizable. is there a known problem with this software and windows 7? is there a way to configure so it works?

Try running the program in compatibility mode for an older version of windows such as vista or xp. If it still causes the usb problems it may have to do with outdated usb drivers. Try running the program in safe mode and see if that works.

If it will only work in safe mode and your usb drivers cant be changed, then you should just buy a new webcam for install a generic webcam driver for it.
