Pictures Remaining number change after I take a picture

The file size of a picture depends on the resolution you choose and the complexity of the scene. A picture of blue sky has a smaller file size than a picture of autumn leaves. If the Pictures Remaining number does not change when you take a picture, it generally means that the picture does not take up sufficient memory to decrease the number. This is normal.
