SOURCE: I have a GPS navigation system ITEM NO W3G-01
In the product manual it indicates there is a SD card slot, along with a USB port, so there is a physical method to change the map data to your locale.

However, you should contact the manufacturer to see if their firmware allows you to change/add maps. Garmin GPS units have this capability, and I have used their topo & Road maps together with very good results for off-road adventures out in AZ & Utah.

You cannot pick up cell phone conversations on your scanner. Federal law prohibits the manufacture and sale of scanners capable of receiving cellular bands, and modern scanners cannot be modified to include those frequencies Sorry. . . .
SOURCE: will uniden digital trunking scanner pickup kenwood radio signal
Makes and models make no difference as far as compatibility. Check the frequency coverage of the scanner you're looking at, and compare it to the operating frequencies of the Kenwood. If the Kenwwod is an HF model, the answer is a flat NO. If it's VHF or UHF, most Uniden scanners will be capable of reception. If you need more specific info, such as operating frequencies/modes for specific radios, please let us know.
