We are having a discussion at our Plant on the Patton PUH680 Heater. I see it is UL Listed and has a 2 Prong Electrical Plug. Is this Heater Double Insulated? Why is a Three Conductor Cord and Plug not required?

Must be an older model heater. All the recent ones have a 3 prong plug. Especially, since the recall a couple of years ago on the PUH680-U Heater.

I need two more rubber pegs for the base of my Patton heater. It only came with two. How can I get 2 more?

Almost every manufacturer will supply free parts for new equipment that is missing them.
Call them and let them know and I'm sure they will mail them to you.

CAN THIS HEATER CAUSE AFIRE AND IS THIS HEATER ON RECALL PATTON PUH680-U

I do not know if this heater is on any product recall but we have used patton heaters for years and pretty much have had good luck with them. However there is a fire hazard present if you set or store combustibles to close to the front.Tip over switches don't always work and I would never recommend using a heater of this type in a unsupervised area.I hope this is of some help to you. Thank you and happy holidays.

I have a patton puh682 1500 watt heater and after a while it just seems to turn off is there some kind of timer or heat control?

Under the main black knob is a bi-metal switch which shuts down the heat at various temps depending on your setting. Their is no timer.
