With my lamp timer model TN300, what is the difference between options "Timer On" vs. "Outlet On?"

Timer ON is when you want the timer to turn lamp on-off.
Outlet ON is when you want to control lamp with lamp switch

I do not know how to set it. i have lost the instructions for a 111woods model tn300

Woods timers sometimes have more than one number for same timer.
This is true for most brands of timer.
Companies change model numbers and add new model numbers.

Intermatic makes two different analog timers with 111 model number. TN111 and HB111.
Grasslin has older electronic timer Tactic 111
Timex sells TE111 timer.

Rotate dial until current time lines up with arrowhead located on inner dial.
The segments located around edge of dial are pushed down or raised to set on-off times.
Push segments down for times you want timer ON

Override switch on top of timer.
For programs to operate, move switch to Timer ON

Plug timer into wall

Have a new woods tn300 light timer. if lift the

Anywhere that pegs are pulled up is where the outlet is off if the pegs are down then the outlet is on. Hope that helps!
