check house braker, element, thermal fuse, thermostats, wires and connections including to the motor as the motor switch acts on the element. if all is good your electronic board should be the problem.. a local part dealer will usually help you in testing your parts if you dont have a multimeter..
It sounds like the bearings have gone out in the tub. The major cause of this is using powder soap. There is nothing you can do but replace the rear outer tub. This is a costly fix but maybe worth it for a stack unit.
That is correct. Take the screws out of the console up top. look for a burn mark on your circuit board. If it's on R11, replaced your door lock wax motor as well at the board.
You have to make sure your self if water is getting through the hoses first.Remove the hot& cold hoses on the back of unit.Make sure there isn't a clog in side of the water valve screens ,if so clean them.Still not filling?Possibly a blown fuse.
If the machine continues to fill even after the power has been switched off, this sounds like a stuck inlet valve.
To identify the valve, look at your model in the "parts store" section of Maytag's website. The valve is item 21 on the "Control Panel, Top & Lid" drawing.
From the drawing, the valve looks like a fairly standard item; I suspect you might get something suitable a bit cheaper elsewhere.
