Heklo! I have a Samsung GT 15-500. I can not receive mms. Tried to take out the SIM-card, restart the phone, put the SIM back in and restarted, sent an mms from another phone to my own phone. I did not receive the mms I sent to myself. Please, HELP!!! thanks in advance!

hey steven sc480 i experienced the same problem on the samsung a877 where the phone wont send anything. i finally learned after a while that the only solution to the problem is to restart it. its very annoying but u just have to accept it or upgrade to a new phone. the model i had which was the impression was notorious for its pink screen of death where the phone sends so many messages it just decides to turn the screen pink. but anyway i think that may be a relation in some of their phones. i know its annoying but i just got used to it. sorry
I have the same phone, I have the same problem with my phone. But when my phone starts receiving same messages by a same user at a time. I restart my phone. Then, it gets back to its normal.

!!!!Unlocking V804ss thru codes!!!!
To all who want to maintain as japanese version for V804ss and Z540 without flashing just do the following:
Take out SIM CARD
Press: *7465625*228#
Power off. Put your SIM CARD.
In order to activate MMS settings you are required to call your vodacom customer care and ask them what sms you have to send in order to receive mms settings. Once you get the settings save them on your phone and make it default settings. Switch off your mobile take out your sim for 02 minutes and restart your mobile with sim inside it. Now you are ready for sending or receiving mms.
Depending on your phone, 1. From within SMS or MMS screen, select MENU > Tools > Options > Sending > Check 'Save Sent Items'. or 2. MENU > MESSAGES > MMS > MMS SETTINGS check "Save sent items"
i have a similar problem on my samsung x640. but with mms. they tried everything at optus and finally put my sim in another phone and the mms worked. so they are saying it is a software problem and that it needs to be sent away to be fixed..... at a cost of $90!!!! they told me to just get a new phone. GRRRR.
