Hi I have a Brother MFC 7220 (Fax, Scanner, Photo Coppier) The problem I am having is with the Photo Copying and Scanning. The printer works great. When I go to make a photo copy of a document it is only printing part of the text. The left side of the page is not printing. I am also having trouble with the scanner. It is scanning with no problems what so ever. However when I go to print off the scan it is very faint Can you please help me I have done all the cleaning maintenance listed in the book however nothing has helped I look forward to your reply Kindest regards Maryanne

Are you using latest drivers? Also, try to export scans to different programs. Don't forget to consult user's manual Brother mfc 7220 manual

I was having this problem. All I had to do was make sure I had the right IP address under the Network Setting properties for the device under Scanners and Cameras.

My brother 7220 will not scan it is saying check cables? I can copy and fax , what am I missing?

Printers usually have a separate driver for scanning and printin.

You might need to install that driver into the pc where you want the scan to come out on. It usually comes out when you insert the install disk.

If you do not have the install disk, just go online to the brother printer website and type in your printer model number usually it will show you the drivers needed to install and instructions to do it.

You need an ANALOG phone line for faxing, not DIGITAL.
