How can we video chat (skype) with the veo camera?

I have read that the Veo Camera uses a Video format that is incompatible with Skype. I have also found that some have had success using Splitcam to control your Veo camera, and then setting Skype to use Splitcam as the camera of choice.

1. Download Splitcam from www.splitcamera.com
2. Install it, run it, click on the Video button and select your webcam. Click on the on button. You will see your face.
3. Now go to Skype>Tools>Options>Video Setting and select Splitcam as your webcam.

If this doesn't work, you will more than likely need to get a new camera that is compatible with Skype.

Do you have MSN messenger or any other instant messenger program starting when your computer starts up, if so thats probably your problem.
Use MSconfig (in run box) or a program like cc cleaner to check your startup folder

Before you can use your webcam in any chat program you have to configure it to that program

Start Skype.

On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the navigation pane of the Skype Options window, click Audio Settings.
Select your webcam as the default microphone. (If it has a built-in mic)
In the navigation pane of the Skype Options window, click Video Settings.
Select your webcam as the default.
Click Save.
Test your webcam by making a Skype test call.

click on file, video source, veo mobile/advanced web camera
(you should see yourself in the application window)
then open you skype
click on tools, options, video settings
choose splitcam capture, save
