Changing Ring Tones

Setting the ring tone and ringer volume You can choose one of the four different ring tones and set the ringer volume. To set the ring tone and volume: 1. Make sure that the ringer is turned ON. 2. Press the Set Options key. 3. Press the down arrow three times or press [3] to go directly to the item. 4. Press [3] and follow the instructions on the display. When picking the ring tone, press the volume bar to adjust the volume. 5. Press [Save] to end when you are satisfied with the ring tone and ringer volume.

**Selecting the Ring Tone and Volume
Your phone has five different ringer tone/volume combinations you can choose from.
To select the ringer:
1) With the phone in standby, press [vol/ / ] or [vol/ / ].
2) The phone will sound the different ring tones at different volumes. To turn the ringer
off, select RINGER OFF.
3) When the phone sounds the ring tone and volume you wish to use, press [end].


**Temporarily Mute Ringer
If the handset is off the base while an incoming call is ringing, simply press [end] to mute
the incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the next incoming call.
Note: You can only mute the handset ringer if the handset is off the base when the phone starts
ringing.

your contact address must be realigned. You must put all your family and friends into special groups which is in the menu - contacts.. Now if you take options there is a key for assigning ring tone for this group, so selct and assign.
Do the same for the business and post them to the said groups when you set up the contact list.
In fact you can sub divide to different groups with diferent tones so as to identtify when the call comes through.

User profiles
This is used to set up the different ways of incoming call prompts in various situations. Use
the up/down key to choose this option and click the left functional key to enter. There are
many modes of setting available and the default setting is the general mode.
To switch to a new user profile, use the direction key to select the target mode and click
“OK” to enter. Then select “activate” and click “OK” to confirm. Your phone will give an
“activated” prompt, indicating that the user profile is active. The “headset” mode does not
require activation; your phone will automatically switch to the “headset” mode if a headset
is connected to your phone, and back to the previous mode when unplugged.
You can also customize each user profile setting for your preference, the following
operations are available:
(1) Ring tone settings:
Incoming calls: Enter “user profile”, select “personal setting”, and set up the ring tone.
Power on: set up the music for power on.
Power off: set up the music for power off.
Message: set up the message ring tone when a new message arrives.
You can also download ring tones online.
(2) Volume
This allows you to set up the volume for ring tones and keypad tones. There are 7 grades
available. Enter this function and use the up/down key for testing and adjusting.
(3) Alert type
This is used to set up the alert type for incoming calls. Please select the suitable alert
types in different situations.

there should be a volue control in the phone section of the setup icon turn that up
then if you didnt assign a ring to your groups, try asigning a different ring tone to each group and make sure the ring tones have a loud sound by playing them using the phone.

other than that, it shoud be a hardware problem with the speaker that needs to be replaced.

Cycle through the menu until you see ringer settings, then follow the prompts.

1. Changing The ring tones

You can choose ring tones (01 - 03) or melodies (04 - 13).

Press the Menu/Mute button until ringer tone 01 shows in the display. 01 is the default.

Use the cid/volume ( - or + ) button on the handset to select from 01 to 13.

Press Menu/Mute to save.
