SOURCE: my ge front loader washer will not drain

We had same problem. The pump was all clogged up with fabric debris, and a part of a metal bra liner. I removed the pump and cleaned it out. Now it seems to work fine, and went through a complete cycle. Ther pump was accessed from the front, and was not too hard to remove.

SOURCE: Washer doesn't run all the way thru cycles. It's

Removed hose connecting to water pump at tub. Removed clog (ink pen, coins, etc). Replaced and ran washer. Ran through all cycles - no leaking, no pausing of cycles. Problem is resolved.

SOURCE: GE washing macine stops during the wash cycle

This is exactly what my machine was doing, as well. I fixed it by cleaning out the filter in front of the water pump.

Searching here, I found that you can remove the lower front panel (three screws along the bottom edge is all it takes) to get to the filter. With the panel removed, you'll see a round white plastic cover (about 3-4 inches diameter) that screws out. Get a bucket under the cover to catch the water that's in it (could be 2 quarts or more) and unscrew the cover.

The cover pulls out, revealing that is actually a screw-in plastic strainer. I found tons of coins, broken pens, paper clips, etc. in mine when I did this. A lot will be deep inside the black rubber hose that connects this filter housing to the washer drum. You can rake the stuff out with a bent wire clothes hanger. Shaking the black hose will help hurry the junk along and out of your machine. Screw the cover back on after the clean out and your machine should go back to normal.

Thinking about it, front loaders will have lots of small items flushed into the pump compared to top loaders. Coins you alway found in the bottom of the drum in a top loader, they all wind up in the filter of a front loader. And once it slow the drainage to a crawl the machine will shut down multiple times when it can't drain the water out completely, and it will never step up to it's max spin speed with all that water still in the drum.

How do I increase water level in my wfxd8400uc?

I get this complaint a lot from home owners , I take it you have just got your first front loader washer , and you don't think it adds enough water to wash anything , this is the water saving feature of front loaders
but a simple test I tell most folks to do if they think there water level sensor is not working right
set washer to auto load sense on water level , normal wash cold water, permapress add nothing to drum completely empty! no soap unless you have a auto soap dispenser then it wont start to you add some and close door

start cycle wait till fill is complete just as it goes to agitate stop cycle (plug can be pulled for this if buttons have locked out )and open door see if water level is two fingers wigth under door seal , if its close your ok if it's a long way off then contact a repair department to look at auto sense water level

My washer is not working it begins to spin stops and has the letters LE appearing.

Hi,

This a common problem for all front loaders. Your washer will not drain or work 'cause your outlet filter is clogged or an unusually heavy load. The small door is on the left side front bottom of your washer. Remove the door with a putty knife or thin butter knife inserted in the middle top of the access panel door. Drain the water from the filter housing by pulling the tube out of the clip and unplugging, allow it to run into a bucket while the machine is in spin only mode. This mode is acheived when the washer is first powered on press the spin button until no spin is reached then run. Run in this mode until no water is draining from the tube in the bucket. Keep the tube as low as possible. When water has stopped coming out of the tube turn off the washer and unplug from the wall. This step is important because this resets the fault. Expect some water to come out when you open the filter housing by turning counterclockwise until you can pull the filter from its housing. Clean out your filter, return to housing turning clockwise until seated and recap the tube and place in the holder, refit the cover and plug back into the wall. Fixed. You may also need to lighten the load a bit but I always try full on load anyways. If it fails again just lighten, unplug wait >1 minute then replug and run.

Goodluck..

I dont have a stop buttom

You're start/pause button should pause the cycle, cancell should completely cancell. After pressing the Start/Pause within a cycle, the door lock may require time to unlock as indicated by the lock light on the panel.

LG WD12020D Inverter Direct Drive 7.5kg front loader. Has never had visible water level in the drum. I have even stopped the machine, turned off the power, waited for the door to unlock, pushed the wet...

No water that high. But you may have an extra water button that allows you to add slightly more water to each wash load. Water should be just above bottom of inside drum in the back of the drum as it rotates

The rinse cycle dont work also the spin cycle

Had a similar problem 4 months ago with our top loader washer.
Our problem was the door/cover closure detection switch.
It had rusted out.

The machine would still empty out,
but the drum wouldn't spin up. Result was a very wet
lump of clothing and the dryer doing 4x duty trying to
dry the stuff.

Didn't start washer, but there is water in the tub!!

I had similar problems. If there is no power, first try to unplug the washer for five minutes and then plug it back in. If there is still no power, unplug the washer, unscrew the back panel and make sure the white and black wires, coming from the power cord, did not come loose or are disconnected. If the door is locked shut, open the bottom panel. If you reach way up by where the door latches, there is a little tab you can pull down to open it. Also, you may want to check the filter. There is a big round cap, where the tub drains into before it reaches the pump. Unscrew it, but have a wet/dry vac ready to **** up any water remaining while you open it. Clean the filter and then screw it back in.

Push start different sound water may start may not start pause

I would check to make sure the connectors to that door lock are all connected. If they are it's probably the lock/switch mechanism itself. Wow I just checked and they are about $120. The p/n is wh10x10006 You can google around for the best price. Good luck!

Wd63 door

The main cause with this model is water still in machine. Try a spin and look for water in drum. To empty manually lower drain hose into bowl untill empty. Door should then open.
