Hello,

If it's doesn't work after checking battery/charger and memory:

Turn on the notebook and point a flashlight to the screen and if you see a darker image of your system booting up, then your lcd backlight isn't working anymore.

It's possible to change the backlight lamps or inverter but you need to know something about electronics.

Green light stays on, while the tv has black screen? and stays on for 2mins and than black screen come on, than 20secs later turns on again and this happens repeately

if its a rear projection it could be the light bulb is bad or blown. You can get ideas of what the lights mean at sony. If its the light don't buy one from Pure Glare. com They send out bad or blown bulbs.

Computer turns on but screen stays black

This is often caused by the screen lights or screen failing. Try looking at the screen from different angles in different light conditions, you might just be able to see the image.

Power comes on but the screen stay`s black dose it have a screen lock or stand by

Black screens can be caused by many things the first bit of video runs through the ram, so try changing the ram or swaping it. the next thing that causes a black screen is the LCD Inverter or the back light bulb to test this is take a flash light and shine it on the screen at an angle and see of you can make any faint images out. Next dis-assemble the laptop and see if the processor is heating up or staying cool.

Hope this helps!
