Need 4 allenhead bolts (2 3/8 inch) and 15 nylon washers for Chatham Lifestyle Crib. Customer Service states they no longer carry the hardware for it.

Do the bolts have to be allen head (hexhead) bolts, hardware store and match the threads and the length of bolt and switch to say, a phillips or flat head style bolt. Did the CSR at the hardware store NOT try to help you in this way?

I lost my manual, I need to know how to transform the crib into a toddler bed

Converting a Simplicity Crib into a Toddler Bed:

Please note, Simplicity has gone out of business and the Simplicity Cribs should NOT be used as cribs. They were sold at Walmart, Target and BabiesRUs. The word on the street is that Walmart is the easiest to deal with when it comes to returning them. Those who wish to return Simplicity cribs don't need a receipt, they can just take them to Walmart for store credit. BabiesRUs was apparently giving about $65 while Walmart was closer to $190. Again, this is just what I have heard from others.

You can find the specific information on the Simplicity recall here.

If you do want to use your Simplicity crib as a Toddler Bed, I have not read any warnings against this. Again, I might just take it to Walmart anyway and get a store credit and perhaps buy a new convertible crib. You can get some great ones on Amazon for around $150 with delivery included.

I would pack it up, take it in for store credit, and get a new crib!

You can get some great deals these days on cribs, there's a great one on Amazon for $150 with free shipping so it's kind of a no-brainer.

As I have heard, Walmart will take it back, no questions asked and no receipt necessary and you can get a brand new one with brand new parts, brand new instructions and no recalls or risks!

Good Luck.

If you still want to convert it, here is what you need to do:

1. Remove the front panel of the Simplicity crib. Use an Allen wrench and 45mm bolts (there should be extras underneath the crib, along with an Allen wrench, but if there aren't then you can pick some up at your local hardware store.)

2. Check the mattress support. It needs to be in the lowest position available, which will allow the toddler to get in and out of bed easily. It is also the only position that will make the rails line up properly with the pre-drilled bolt holes. To lower the mattress, unscrew the four bolts from the four corners of the mattress support and slide the support down. The holes for the lowest setting are just about the bottom wood panels. Use your Allen wrench to reattach the mattress support with the same bolts you pulled out when the mattress was in the higher position.

3. Attach the toddler bed rails to the crib frame. Use two 38mm Allen bolts on each rail. There are pre-drilled holes in both the rail and the crib frame. Line up the holes and then loosely screw the bolts into place. The bottom of each rail has a metal L-shaped hook. This will slide under the mattress support. Use a 19mm Allen bolt to attach this piece to the mattress support. When everything is lined up and screwed in loosely, go back and tighten each bolt. Repeat on the other side.

4. Check the entire crib frame for loose bolts. Use the Allen wrench to tighten all the screws. Toddlers can be rough on their beds, so it is important to make sure the bed is safe. You should recheck for loose bolts often. Jumping and climbing on the bed can easily loosen the bolts and screws.

5. Don't forget to hang onto the front panel and store it carefully, you will need it later to convert the bed into a full sized bed.

How do i remove starter 2000 night train Thanks!

step one disconnect the battery starting with the negative using a 10mm wrench
with a 5/8 socket remove the engine oil drain plug and drain the oil
remove the battery
with a 3/8 socket remove the fuse box right behind the battery
on the back side of the oil tank between the rear wheel splash guard and the oil tank is two 9/16 bolt heads, remove them with an open end and be sure not to lose them there are also two more in front of the oil tank remove them as well.
unclip the oil lines at the engine by squeezing the two blck clips with your fingers at the big chrome bolts.
remove the oil tank making sure there is nothing else in its way
5/8 socket drain the primary oil
with a torx 27 (t27) remove either the chain inspection cover or derby cover
with a 3/16 Allen wench (preferably a 3/8 socket style) reoveslowly and by hand all of the outer primary screws. be sure to have a peice of cardboard to note where they came out of.
remove the gasket, and if you had a paper gasket in there be sure to remove all of it remaining none
to the top right of the clutch you will see a small bolt head with a small hammer and a flat head screw driver tap back the bolt lock tab then use an (i believe 8mm socket to remove this screw) its a long one at that about 4-5 inches long.
then pull out the pinion gear
now go to the other side of the bike using a 1/4 allen socket on a long extension remove both allen bolts one on the upper left of the starter and one on the lower right both go into the back side of the inner primary cover
remove the "50 terminal" (the green wire with the white connector on the outter most right top of the starter and with a 7/16 wrench remove the battery positive from the starter
pull starter out
perform these steps in reverse to install starter
depending on your exhaust you may need to remove that also

How to change spark plugs in a 2004 ford exdedition

You'll need to take off the top cover, 4 10mm bolts. You'll have to unplug and unbolt the 8mm bolt on each coil pack. Pull up the coil pack and plug boot. Each plug is down in the head, you'll need a 5/8" socket 6 inch extension and a ratchet, also an extend-able magnet is helpful. On some these motors you need to remove the fuel rail. The rear, passenger side plug is very difficult to get to.

Cannot disassemble Troy-bilt trimmer head

There is a round, rotary black part between the metal piece to which the cutting head attaches and the outer plastic seat of the cutting head. There are two square slots, each about a quarter inch wide, on opposites sides of the black piece. Slide an Allen wrench or something similar firmly into the slot. Holding the Allen wrench in a stable position, turn the outer plastic ring of the cutting head (it has scalloped edges that can be gripped firmly) counter clockwise to unscrew the cutting head from the bolt on which it is mounted. Be careful with the tool (e.g. Allen wrench) used to hold the black piece steady, as it is plastic and could be damaged by the edge of the tool.

I dont have the instructions to turn my simplicity 4 in 1 crib to a toddler bed

Install Safety Rails
Mattress support must be in lowest postition
Remove the Front Panel Contoured Top rail and Front Panel
Loosen connector pieces on the end of the leg of the Safety Rail to the End Leg using two of the Allen Bolts (11/2 in). Loosely attach the leg of the Safety Rail to the underside of the Mattress Support using one of the short Allen Bolts (3/4 in) through connectors. Tighten all three of the bolts holding the safety rail to the unit.
Repeat procedure with the other safety rail.

These are the instructions in the manual. Basically, you take off the front cross board and rail, attach the safety rails to each of the front legs. They kind of go 1/3 of the way across the front with about a 1 1/2 foot opening in the center.
