A cable will not play music. It WILL convey a signal from a source to something which presumably CAN play it.

This model has no inputs or outputs.

Hi!

I was wondering how do I play music through my iPhone with this cd player. I have a direct cable but I'm not sure what to press to make it play through my cd player. Thank you.

Once you plug in your iphone and set it to play your song(s). Set your car player for AUX this will then pick up the device playing into the direct port. Hope this helps Fix ya up.

Hi is it possible to connect a laptop to a denon 700aedab for music playback

HI, very possible. Just follow this instruction:

All yo need to use for the connection is to get an RCA TO STEREO JACK HEAD (use the google image to see the type of cable).. Connect to denon 700aedab, make sure that the denon 700aedab is on either aux, tunner, video, etc. Those auxillary options on your denon 700aedab.

Connect the RCA into the aux of the denon 700aedab and connect the small jack head into the laptop ( where you plug in earphones),and play and enjoy your music.

If it does not play with aux try tunner, or video, one mustplay, and if it does ot play any, that means either the port of your laptop or the denon 700aedab port is faulty.

And don't forget to connect the speaker, because diffidently you will sure hear absolutely nothing with out the speaker.

Feel free to pass your comment .

Thanks for using fixya.

Can i listen to my ipod threw the theater sound system

your home theater has a AUX phono plug in the back
you need to buy or make a cable that looks like this

to buy
3.5mm headphone jack>>>>> phonojack
if that cable has only one phono jack on the other side then you also need this
one phonojack>>>>>two phono jacks
this is needed because if you kept it as one jack then only one side will play music

if you make it then
3.5mm headphone jack>>>>>> two phono jacks

How do I setup the SoundMAX device for AUX line-out?

The cable from the computer simply needs to be plugged in to the speaker/headphone jack on the computer, then run to the AUX input on the amp. Make sure the volume on the computer is set to about 75% - 90%.

Hi, I have the Panasonic SA-EN9, and if you plug your mp3 player (I have and ipod) into the auxiliary socket you should be able to play it by pressing the AUX button on the remote provided.

Downloading music from internet to an MP3 player

I guess Sanyo means that have an input jack (line in or aux) where you can connect your mp3 player (after you've downloaded music into it), then hear it on your hi-fi.

Just make sure you connect either the line out or the earphone jack from your mp3 player to the aux or line-in on your hi-fi, then set the hi-fi to play aux or line-in.

Aux In Troubleshooting

Faulty 3.5mm male to male cable maybe? I had the same problem with a cable I made myself, the wire was too thin and was just twisted together. I made it from 2 extension jacks I bought from a dollar store. I re-made it properly with 3.5mm jacks bought from an electronics store with thicker wires that I soldered on. It worked fine after that.
