My magnavox DVD/VCR Combo is having problems. I cannot get the disc tray to eject no matter what I do and it loads like I have a DVD in there but there's no DVD in there.

Cannot open the disc tray

If you hear the motor trying to work then try to push the disk out by try holding the eject button for couple of seconds or press it and hold it couple of times real quick. If that works you need to leave disk in it in order to get the disc tray to keep ejecting I a have cdrom that works like this. If not take it apart and take out the cd you need and replace the disc tray with motor that works.

Sony slv-350p dvd combo disc tray wont open

Might be to a broken loading belt, or damaged loading gear wheels. Check it. If gear wheel is faulty, it will be best to repalce the disc loading mechanism.

GoVideo DVD/VCR combo has a disc in it, and it plays, but I cannot ejecti it. I tried turn off machine and restart it but it still doesn't eject. It keeps reading the disc and plays the program.

there is a belt which is driven by a motor to open or close the tray. u place the disc on the try and the try loads the dvd/cd into the mechanism. the belt is loose & needs replacement. you have to open the cover & find the belt on the mechanism & replace with slightly shorter length of belt.

Tries used DVD+R format disc instead of DVD-R format disc.This will solved ur problems.

How can I stop a dvd player from reading non-stop with no disc in player---player is not on lock but refuses to open.

Power off, then disconnect from the wall plug.This resets the dvd. after five ninutes, reconnect the power and start the combo. Should have 'load' on the display, then open the tray of the dvd.When you close the tray, it will try to 'read' a dvd again.

Disc Tray Will Not Eject

Just next to the eject button on the actual recorder there should be a tiny pinhole. If you use a small paperclip and insert it, then push, you should be able to manually eject the DVD. Hope this helps!

Panasonic PV-D4743S combo DVD/VCR player won't eject DVD

This unit has seperate power supplies for the DVD and VCR side and the DVD side supply seems prone to failure. I have not isolated the cause, but can tell you this will require a component level repair. Unless you are a tech you may as well buy a new unit.

Mechanical problem you need to open the cover of your player.you need to help the tray to eject manually...Once the cover is off power on the player then press the open then observe the mechanism trying to eject to which is preventing it to eject then help the mechanism to eject by pushing it.This maybe just a cause of stucked up mechanism due to a lng time not in use..
