SOURCE: no display on microwave touchpad for ge Model JKP62G
The GE JKP62G Microwave / Oven combination has an internal fuse behind the control panel for the microwave. The oven will operate but the microwave will be totally dead (no light, no clock). Turn off the breaker for the oven at the fuse box (30 Amp double breaker). In order to replace the fuse you will have to open the door to the microwave, remove the two screws (Torx) from the front control panel (located on the left edge of the control panel), wiggle the panel to the left (there are two metal tabs that stick into the metal frame of the microwave on the right of the panel) and then tilt the panel down from the top. There is a metal bracket that holds the control panel to the microwave at the bottom (don't remove it). Look towards the top of the microwave inside the area behind the control panel and you will see a 15 Amp screw in fuse. Replace the fuse and that should fix your problem.

You almost certainly have a bad membrane keypad.
If you (or someone you
know) might want to replace it yourself, I have uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically
involved.
You can find
helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full
model number here.
There
should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating
components.
If you would like to
have us
do this repair for you, we do that for $39.95 plus part costs nationwide.
But please note that for
some GE models, the membrane keypad is not
available as a separate part, so you would have to order the control
panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad.
In this case, you simply
move your circuit board into the new frame. That is a simple do-it-yourself
job.
Either way, we can let
you know what your options and costs would be and send you other
helpful info.
At
our Web site, we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your
full model number from the tag on the unit) for more
information & help.

Microwave Oven Control Panel Repair Nationwide
SOURCE: I have a GE Profile Spacemaker Microwave Touch Pad does not work
Sadly, GE does not make individual parts available for these controllers, so they cannot be repaired.
You have to replace the control panel sub-assembly (part number WB07X10733 in your case) and the best price I've found on that is $370.32 here (compared to $483.25 direct from GE).
In my opinion, this does not do much to inspire brand loyalty...
Or you may be able to find a whole oven on eBay for about that or less.
Sorry to bear bad news. Good luck.
