I replaced the 4 capacitors on the DM board and got about 6 months out of my Mistubishi WS-55613 projection television. Now it is doing the same thing again with the blinking green light and no power. I bought 4 capacitors at Radio Shack and replaced them again and the tv came on for a few minutes then the screen started blinking and it went out again and it is the same as before. Should I try replacing the capacitors again?\r\n\r\nEd

I replaced them again and got about 2 days out of my tv until it went out again. Do you know anywhere I could get a replacement board? That would be the next thing I would try if it was not too expensive.

    Thanks.

For their cost it's probably worth trying to replace the capacitors again.

If there's space around the capacitors then I suggest you get high voltage rating i.e if the existing ones are 16V then get 25V.

Also worth checking for any other damaged components or scorch marks on the PCB.

You can't get a replacement DM Board any longer. You may want to check that the DM Board is inserted into the guides correctly and pushed firmly home. Did you try increasing the voltage on the Caps? If you did then I suggest you've got a fault elsewhere that needs to be solved before you go any further.

Model # ws-55613, a short time after the tv turns on there are wavy vertical lines that wont go away. if i turn off the tv and restart it will work for a short time and wavy lines will reappear.

The WS Mitsubishi has a known problem with the Power Supply electrolytic capacitors and the electrolytic caps on the DM board. See my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r7065906-mitsubishi_turn_flashing_power_timer for more detailed information. The problem you are describing would be the first part of the known problem. There are several repair/replacement choices listed in my tip.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Describe your Mitsubishi WS-55711 65 in. Rear Projection Television Problem. It has a bad dm board is there any way i can get it fixed?

How did you determine it has a failed DM board? What are the symptoms the tv is having? The DM board usually needs the capacitors replaced.

My mitsubishi 1080 series television will not turn on. There is a blinking green light underneath where it says timer on the front. I am wondering if there is a solution to this problem.

Yes thats usually caused by failed DM Capacitors that need to be replaced. You can get the DM repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com the kit contains the caps and the cd with instructions.

TV will not power on,reset light is blinking and continues after following reset instructings

Probably needs a DM board. This is avery common problem and the board may not be available anymore.Sometimes you can repair them by replacing bad capacitors on the DM board.

Mitsubishi ws-55613 green light blings rapidly and TV will not come on.

The DM module has bad capacitors in it and these will need to be replaced, or the DM module replaced.(about 85% of the time, the caps WILL fix them though...) A good shop should be able to rebulid your module for about 300-400 in the home.
