We have 10 KX-T7736 phones hooked up to a KX-TA624. I have a programming manual for the KX-TA624, where can I get a programming manual for the KX-T7736 phones. I can find the little 16 page user guide, but this doesn't tell me anything about the deeper programming within the phone. I have stumbled upon some of it, but a programming manual would be sweet. Also, any thoughts on how to get the call log to work?

If you have a Panasonic KX-T7736 phone with one line not producing dial tone, there are a few possible causes. The first possibility is that the phone line itself is the problem.

If you have another phone in the house, try plugging it into the same phone line and see if you get a dial tone. If you do, then the problem is with the KX-T7736 and not the phone line.

The second possibility is that the problem is with the phone's internal wiring. To check this, unplug the phone from the wall jack and plug it into a different jack. If you get a dial tone, then the problem is with the first jack and not the phone.

The third possibility is that the problem is with the phone itself. If you've tried the other two solutions and you still don't have a dial tone, then the problem is most likely with the KX-T7736 and you'll need to contact Panasonic for assistance.

psu problem the 7736 run a few more milliamps then normal as they have a larger display plus its powered all the time,and the psu cant cope....hope this helps

On the cabinet, there is a jack marked EXT MUSIC. You plug in an audio source to the jack and then go into system programming and turn it on in program 111.

The time can be set through system admin programming at an extension that has been allowed this ability, usually the attendant phone. To access system admin programming press <program> **1234(1234 is the default password). Once in programming dial 000 for time/date. Use the LCD navigation keys or the jog dial to scroll through the date to get to the time, after setting the time press <enter> to save the new time then lift handset to end programming session.

The solution will depend on why the phone is not ringing. Do you have a good cable? (Can you get a dial tone and make outgoing phone calls?) If you don't have a dial tone, use another phone to check if the phone is the problem or if the jack is at fault.

Next is the phone forwarding calls or in the "do not disturb" mode.

If the problem is one of the above, which model of the Main Unit do you have, KX-TA624 or KX-TA1232?

If the unit is in the "do not disturb" mode, to cancel: pick up the handset, press Program then 0 followed by # with the TA624. For the other model, press Program followed by 0 . Then hang up the handset. For this the manual says press the FWD/DND button not the Program button. I'd check both.

To cancel Forwarding, except for Follow Me Forwarding, pick up the handset, press FWD/DND and then 0 and # (TA624) or 0 (TA1232) then hang up the handset. To cancel Follow Me Forwarding: pick up the handset, press FWD/DND then 8 followed by the extension number. Then press # for the TA624 and hang up; just hang up the handset for the TA-1232.
