Here are the instructions, basically you remove the screws on each side and then on side will lift off. I used a flat head screw driver to work around seem until it lifted off. Hope this helps.

I have a Conair True Reflections make-up mirror and just put in a new bulb, but two white things with metal washers on the bottom of each fell out of the mirror casing when I took it apart and I have no idea where there are suppose to go. Where do I put them and, are they necessary? You CAN replace the bulb and I got mine a Lowe's by just taking the bad one in and they matched the new one. If you remove the four screws, you can get to the fluorescent bulb. Then you have to roll the new bulb into its place. Each bulb is around 8.00 and no matter how old the mirror, you CAN replace the bulb

Change indicator bulb in Volvo V70 wing mirror

Easy peasy. Adjust mirror fully one direction or the other, right or left. Grab mirror glass through the gap created, pull hard to remove mirror glass. Light bulb assembly will be exposed for simple swap. Use a #194 bulb of your choice (there are many choices at your favorite local auto parts dealer). SELECT YOUR CAR
Good luck, should take five minutes or less.

My mirror is not like the picture shown. I have a True Reflections mirror by Conair with two sides and changes shades for what kind of light I want, I just wanted to know what are the two whit things that fell out of the mirror when I took it apart to change the bulb? There are two squares that appear to be batteries of some kind and the two things that fell out were near them. but I have no idea where they were.exactly or it they are necessary. Can anybody help me figure that out? Thanks! J. Burke

How to replace light bulbs in a Jerdon Tri-fold makeup mirror

In order to replace bulbs, look at the back of the mirror. There will be four white circle coverings hiding the screw heads, and these must be drilled open in order to access the screws that hold the two halves of the mirror together (these coverings will not have to be replaced). Once these screws are located and unscrewed, flip the mirror back over and remove the top half. Carefully, replace the bulbs.

How do I open the housing of Conair Makeup mirror model BE 103 - I removed the screws but cannot separate the mirror to replace bulb

The two sides do come apart but tend to stick. Pull the magnifying mirror apart from the mirror that is attached to the stand. You may need to budge it a little on one side and then the other to get it to come free, but it will.

I cannot get the side mirrors apart to change the bulbs on my 2008 ford super duty truck. The mirrors are heated.

- Adjust the mirror so the mirror glass is in as far as it will go (meaning if you were looking in the mirror you would see the side of the truck)

- Look inside the mirror housing
- Locate silver clip
- Using a flat screw driver, push the clip in
- Lenses will pop out on the outside
- Remove bulb
- Replace bulb
- Snap back together when new bulb in place.

Wing mirror indicator not working

I changed mine a few years ago (2005 Sharan). Price of the LED part was ~£20 from the main dealer. Biggest problem was taking the mirror unit apart. I spent ages removing the mirror then seperating the parts. Later some ne'r-do-well knocked into the mirror on a bike, folding it towards the front of the car, and it all just came apart in such a way as to make changing the indicator easy!
