When I try to link from my mail or from messenger to go to mail on the mail icon it comes up with an error message reset_cookie_tokens application not found and from my windows mail it just says application not found and I cannot read anything on messenger in the new items again the same error message.

You might want to uninstall and re-install the yahoo messenger again.. Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

If you can accer access your mail by the URL, I mean with out the messenger. If the mail accessed without messenger is okay and you can read it then your messenger program must be corrupt.
You have to download the latest version of the messenger version from the internet and install it of course after installing your old messenger software.

Just go to the browser and press clt+alt+shift key and clear it. Or Go to run and type cookies and then enter, you will see all cookies just delete all by pressing shift+del

The code it gives you mentions cookies, have you tried to erase your coockies? I'm assuming you have just installed the messenger...?Try deleting your cookies....Press; control shift delete buttons at the same time and a window will insantly pop up...Mark all the check boxes except the topmost one (preserve favorites website data)!...Then hit "delete", a window will come up...let it do its thing, it could be 40 seconds or more if it has been a while since deleting, history and cookies. Now go back to your messenger, refresh the page you where on, that could help after just deleting history.and try to check your mail again...Hope this helps..My wife uses Yahoo and I use hotmail so when we started messenger we had some problems with ehr yahoo too...Good luck!

close your browser and open it again and retry logging in. Make sure you don't have a virusor a spyware bothering it. OR try it with another browser like firefox or google chrome

How do I reset Yahoo Messenger cookies. I can't get thru to my yahoo mail or anything else from e-mail. Keep getting a message that cookies need to be reset.

I've never used Google Chrome but believe if you uninstall Yahoo Messenger. Then re-download and reinstall it(Yahoo Messenger) that it should remedy your problem since Google Chrome is now removed.
