It's not difficult to dissemble and remove jammed up staples

1. remove rubber grip, elevate the grip with a screwdriver over the chrome pin so it slides over.

I inserted thin screwdrivers inside the opposite end of the grip to then pour a small amount of water inside so the grip would slide with far less tension (it's intentionally a pain to remove) 3. Tap out / Remove the pin(It comes out super easy so don't go cave man/woman on it

It's the plastic pin on the grip handle. You take that out and you can pull the rail out. Very convenient. But my staples aren't budging

Strip it down and clean it out, or at least get an airline in there. It is either rust or something inside breaking down.

Hi, You do it very carefully. Take the refill chamber apart and remove all staples or nails. If one is jammed remove it. When all is clear reload and try. Good luck

My Stanley PHT150 is jammed and I cannot remove the staple channel. The instructions do not address a jammed staple channel so, how does one remove it?

Hi Dave,

Nice and easy this one.... all you've got to do is remove the chrome coloured pin at the handle end. This then allows the magazine to be removed by pulling it from the front end. Just make sure that you've removed the pusher (Where you feed the staples in) from the back first

The spring in Stanley TR45 light duty sharpshooter does not work, where can I get a new spring?

Hi,

From what I have read, and I've searched, Stanley doesn't make parts for this staple gun. Only found hammer tacker springs.
Here is the phone number for Stanley customer service: 800-262-2161
It's a remote chance that one of those might fit.....

Hope this helps. If it does, please place a vote for me. Thanks,

Just like my dad I figured I could fix it and

you might try going to bostitch.com and typing in your model number to see if they have a parts diagram, if not give me the model number and I will see what I can do.
