Hi
Compressed air is not a good idea for as couple of reasons:
1. Sometimes there is moisture in the can that will be blasted onto the board
2. It can cause dust to get wedged tighter in the fan and sink area
The only real soloution is to strip the laptop and do a manual clean, this is quite simple on the advents, as all you need to do is remove the large cover on the laptop base to access the heatsink and grilles, you can dust out ( hoover) the fan area and the cooling vents, if this proves to be difficult, obtain some thermal paste, remove the screws retaining the heatsink and lift out the fan and sink assy,
Clean and replace after regreasing the cpu top with thermal grease. Make sure fan connector is attached then.
Tighten the screws in sequence, replace plastic cover
