Timer is not identified for certain:

If this is typical analog timer, then open following link for step by step instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-set-timers.html

If this is digital timer, then add a comment with in-focus photo of timer posted on Flickr for possible identification and more information.
Or open following link to identify same-similar timer and download manual:

My "globe" timer, model # 16USH/3A-24213 and made in China, is for a week's settings, it only states time now and shows hours of light and darkness. How can I set this timer?

Is it a vacation timer? With random settings?
If so, then specific times cannot be set.
The light and dark are for day and night, the time now is for current time

I have a Globe digital timer, I cannot set the clock because the "hour" will not move. Minutes move but only in the prog mode. Any suggestions?

Copy following links to identify timer and download product manual;

Reset digital timers before programming.
This action is designed to clear trace memories from testing, and possibly restore functionality.
Otherwise buy timers at local store for ez return of defective product, or buy new timer and return defect in new package for refund.

How do you move the time now on the globe model 16USA/3A-24212 indoor timer?

'Time now' is stationary.
Rotate outside part of dial so current time lines up with 'time now' mark.

Need instructions for setting Globe outdoor timer photocell model one button on/off #16UL/PC-24222

Use the on/off button to cycle through in the following order:

F = off

0 = on

1-9 = Number of hours unit stays on after detecting 15 seconds of low light

R = Random. After detecting low lux for 15 seconds, unit will select random number of hours to stay on. Will repeat randomization cycle in 24 hrs

d = On from dusk til dawn

1.-9. = (number followed by period) On now and will shut off after the indicated number of hours elapses.

Neat little timer. Have fun with it.

Have a globe electric power bar with7on/7off timer- instructions appear pretty confusing, can not get it to function

I cannot find manual for that product. I think it's actually an Intermatic product DT8003, but I can't find that manual either.

1) If you post the exact wording from the manual where it gets confusing, it would be easier to help ... and typing out the instructions on your part might help you solve the problem

2) If I had to guess about the confusing part of timer programming:
-Timer offers DST option, and Dusk-to-dawn capability +> you have to decide whether to use these options or choose 'manual' option where DST is ignored. Read where you programmed this step and make sure you chose manual or auto.

-You can set 7 programs per week, Program1, Program2, etc

-Start with Program1: first, select days of operation for that specific program ... for example MO (for monday) or WKD (for weekend)
-After setting days of operation, Program1 has to have an ON time.
-After setting ON time. Program 1 has to have OFF time.
-After setting OFF time, you press a button to save Program1 (sometimes this step requires you to push the on-off button or manual override)
-Next, you repeat the same steps for Program2

-The timer ignores conflicting programs > for example Program1 says ON at 7 and OFF at 8 and Program2 say the opposite, timer will ignore both programs.

3) Post photo of instructions on Flickr or Imgur
-Flatten instructions between pages of a book for a few days, and then scan instruction in file format (same format as you scan a photograph or have Office Depot scan instructions for you)

You can post the photo of your instructions on Flickr or Imgur
... and then we can go look at instructions and help sort out the confusion.
