Good Day Dawam98!

There are cookies and caches that are set to remember identity of the user and its session. And there are cookies that are needed that helps the user sign out in its session. This could the problem you are experiencing right now.

There are two possible fix to this kind of problem. And it works for browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

First, we try to clear the caches and cookies on the internet browser you are using so that we could clear any user id and password that you used to sign in on the sites that you want like Yahoo! Mail.

Secondly, we will try to enable the cookies in the internet browser that you are using to allow you to sign out on the sites that you want like Yahoo! Mail.

And hope at the end of this procedure, it will fix your problem.

First solution: Clear cache and remove cookies of your internet browser

For Internet Explorer user, launch your Internet Explorer by clicking it. Press the Tools menu to scroll down and select the Internet Options. When an Internet Options window appear, select the General tab. Press the Delete button next to Delete browsing history or Delete Cookies (the Internet Options format may vary depending on the version of Internet Explorer) but the idea is to delete the cookies (that may also leads you to clearing the history and caches)

For Mozilla Firefox user, launch your Mozilla Firefox browser by clicking it. On the Tools menu, press Options. When an Options window appears, select on Privacy tab. Press the clear your recent history button. Select everything and press the Clear Now button. Next, press the remove individual cookies button, and press Remove All Cookies button. (On some version of Mozilla Firefox, Privacy tab may vary, but the idea is to remove cookies and clear caches.)

For Google Chrome user, launch your Google Chrome browser by clicking it. On Settings, select Options. (on other version, click Customize and Control Google Chrome button next to address bar and select Options). On Options window select on Under the Hood tab. On some version the format may vary but the idea is to clear the browsing history, empty cache and delete cookies.

Second and best solution: Allow cookies

Yahoo need foreign cookies to be enabled in order to sign you out.

For Internet Explorer user, launch your Internet Explorer by clicking it. Press the Tools menu to scroll down and select the Internet Options. When an Internet Options window appear, select the Privacy tab. Set the slider to Medium setting. This settings is enough to allow cookies on your Internet Explorer browser. Click Apply then OK button.

For Mozilla Firefox user, launch your Mozilla Firefox browser by clicking it. On the Tools menu, press Options. When an Options window appears, select on Privacy tab. Select Use custom settings for history next to Firefox will:. Make sure there is a check mark next to Accept cookies from site. Click OK button to close.

For Google Chrome user, launch your Google Chrome browser by clicking it. On Settings, select Options. (on other version, click Customize and Control Google Chrome button next to address bar and select Options). On Options window select on Under the Hood tab. On some version the Under the Hood format may vary, click on Change Google Gear Settings or Content Settings button. On Cookie setting, make sure to select the Allow All Cookies or Allow local data to be set (recommended).

It would be great if you let me know which solutions works for you.
A click on YES button in this solution is much appreciated.
Thank you for asking Fixya.

Yahoo mail will not open

If you or someone else have already set up a Yahoo Mail account, you can open your Yahoo mailbox.
The process just takes a moment.

Open your Web browser and type "mail.yahoo.com" (without the quotes) in the browser's address bar, then press "Enter."

Type your Yahoo ID. It is the same as the front half of your email address.
For example, if your email address is "[email protected]" enter "jbob" (without the quotes.)

Click the box labeled "Password" and type your Yahoo ID password.
Click the "Sign In" button.

Click "Inbox" to open your Yahoo mailbox.

Getting the old version of yahoo mail back

try this & see if it works for you
How to change back to Yahoo
Log in to your yahoo mail account
In your web browser go to the yahoo mail home page sign in to your account using your yahoo ID and password, then click the yellow sign in button. Once you've successfully logged in you'll see your email folders on the left and the what's new and inbox tabs in the middle.
Choose the mail classic option
On the upper right side of the page there are three links -- Mobile, Options, and Help. Click Options, and when the drop down menu appears, choose mail classic
Confirm that you want to switch back
A dialog box will pop up with two choices -- switch to yahoo mail classic and cancel. If you're sure you want to switch, click the first option; otherwise, choose cancel to keep the new yahoo mail.

Depending on your computer's speed and your internet connection, the switch may take several seconds. When it's completed, you'll be looking at the old familiar yahoo mail classic interface.

I dont want want to retype my log in name each time i come to Yahoo mail.

if you dont want to type in your login name and password each time you come to yahoo mail the best option is to use password remembering feature of the browser (but donot use that on a public computer) for this just press the remember button when prompted (it will be better if you use mozilla firefox or inernet explorer8).
another option if you are a frequent user (and using yahoo only from your computer) then you can check the "keep me signed in" checkbox.
