I ve got a Gaggia Titanium,18 months old, and it is stuck on the rinse cycle. I can't get into the menu to alter the settings. Can you help please ?

Try first unplugging power cable for five minutes, see if this reset machine.
This problem is common on Gaggias, sometime if you wait 30 minutes or som, the machine will complete the cycle and go back to normal functions.
Just wait to allow time for the rinse cycle to complete, when machine is stuck it can take over 30 mins.
You can do this by continuing to fill up the water resovoir four or five times to see if the machine completes the rinse cycle on its own.

Gaggias may give you some trouble of this kind from time to time, but they are good Italian brand coffeemakers, and the coffee is usually really great!

I literally tried everything and even called them with no avail. Ended up just leaving it plugged in for about six hours after it had ran out of water and it cleared up. The screen just said refill water.

I obviously wasn't allowing enough time for the machine to complete the rinse cycle.
I've just had a delicious cup of freshly made, bean-to-cup espresso to celebrate.
