My Stiletto 2 works fine in the car and in the home dock, but it will not read my battery. I have changed batteries out with another Stiletto 2, and the batteries show 100% charged in the other Stiletto, however, when I plug each battery into my Stiletto 2, it says it is dead, so I know the issue is with the radio. Anything else to try?

You may want to try to run a device recovery. Sometimes when a battery is drained, the Stiletto only remembers the status of the last battery as it ran completely out. A device recovery would help it reinitialize and recognize a new battery. Instructions and links for device recovery can be found here: http://www.tss-radio.com/links

How to debug a stiletto 1

Stiletto 2 ...pin bent...now broke off !

The pin on the Stiletto 2 connector was indented a little last week. This week it broke off and the radio will not work. I am thinking the dock connector would have to be replaced.

Anyone know who can repair this?
Is this a common problem for the Stiletto 2 ?
Thank you !

I'm considering purchasing a Sirius Stiletto 2 Satellite Radio Receiver - just wondering if it can it be connected to my new Harmon Kardon 3600 avr or do I need to buy the Sirius connect SCH1 Home...

You will need to use the aux input from the top of the unit, or from the back of your home dock. If your receiver has a built in or add-on dock for the XM2GO line of radios, you will need to read here: http://www.digitalradiocentral.com/sirius-backstage/stiletto/108379-i-converted-xm2go-dock-stiletto.html

Stilleto 2 keeps shutting down

It may be a problem with the power switch, I too had this problem. It seems like the power switch is stuck in "down" position as if you were holding it. I remove my battery cover (along with the battery) and gently jiggle the switch up and down to "loosen" whatever may be sticking it in place and it seems to work. I have encountered this problem several times. I did not send it out for repair. It works fine for me (knock on wood).

Sirius Satellite Stiletto 2

My Stiletto got the same problem at around the same time. I have been reading many stiletto owners problems and see many of the same problems erupting at around the same time-mid to late February. I just spoke with a Sirius Representative who said the Stiletto 2 has been discontinued. Seems like a conspiracy to me.

When I plug the stilleto into my car adapter it shuts down. Then powers back on to a screen that simply reads "Sirius Connect"

I had the same problem with my home dock, it worked after unplugging the power to the dock for a few seconds

Stiletto 2: Device works, but no radio

I have seen the same problem. If I remove the battery and then reinsert it, the radio re-initializes and works fine. For some reason it appears that the Satellite reception gets disabled. Taking the battery out and in seems to reboot the radio.

Sirius Stiletto 2 Problem

That's one of several problems my Stiletto 2 has. The only solution I've found is to "reboot" the unit. You'll have to remove the unit from the cradle, pop the back off, and remove the battery for a few seconds. Then put everything back together and power it up. It will take a minute or two, but once it reboots it should be fine.
