I had bluetooth then I reformated my MT6705 and now I can't get it back.
Eddie - I posted a response to this several days ago but I don't see it. So here goes again. I had asked if you used the recovery cd that came with your pc. Is your bluetooth imbedded or USB. This sounds like a driver problem. If you used the recovery cd it should have had the driver on it. If it is imbedded on that machine, if I rememner right I think it's F6 to activate the bluetooth. If it's USB we just need to get you the driver. Either way it's probably the driver. Let me know how you did the reformat and if the bluetooth is USB or imbedded and I'll take care of you. I imagune you're running Vist but let me know to be sure. Thanks.

I am using Vista Home Prem. and I did use the recovery CD's. I have done some research and it seems this is a problem for many people. If i get the driver from Widcomm it installs and says it is working properly but it still doesn't work.
I hope you can help me.

Hi Eddie - Is this an integrated bluetooth or a USB? It sounds like a driver problem. If it is integrated and you used the recovery cd that came with the pc it should have installed the bluetooth driver. If it is USB have you tried just plugging it in and seeing if Windows finds the drivers? If I remember right I think it's something like F6 for Bluetooth if it's integrated on your model. Let me know the answers to all the questions above please and I'll try to get you going again. Thanks.
