Get a card reader. Create a folder on your desktop. Drag and drop the files from the card reader to the folder. I just bought a Nikon - typrice_198.jpg

Wireless printing

you need to set the ip on the printer to within the ip range of your wireless router. Then you need to install a mac book pro driver for the canon i960 on the Mac Pro. THe mac pro should then automatically detect the printer and hook up to it

I cannot download pictures from my nikon d5200 on to my mac book pro. I plugged in my already turned on camera to my computer but nothing is happening.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as iPhoto or Nikon Transfer.

Do what the pros do to avoid this very problem...use a card reader to download to a folder you create on the desktop. Once there, you can send the pics to iPhoto.

I recommend you getting a card reader, then you can download your images and don't wory about it detecting your camera. Its easier and quicker.
