I have an z550i, would like to know where is the memory slot available on the phone to insert the card

have a through look of your phone if the slot is not available. just remove the battery from the phone and check near the Sim card slot. because some phone has a slot near the Sim card slot.. just check the phone..you can also refer the manual of the phone.

Remove any dirt that has crept into the slot , use a jet blower and then slide the new card into the slot with the correct direction.
If the card is still not able to go into then the slot is damaged, there is block within or a possible failure of the lock mechanism.

In the settings, you'll find something called Master Reset. This will erase all data whatsoever on your phone and reset it to its factory state. Try and tell me if it doesnt work

well this phone doesn't support 2G memory card.If u insert it ......the phone shows the memory but it will hang after some time or stop working like in videos,photo shoot etc

Connect the phone to your computer using a usb cable or card reader.. If you connect the phone there will be 2 extra drives in my computer. Right click on the memory card and click on format. Also choose the FAT32 file system while formatting it is more reilable. If you want to do this from a card reader a new USB drive will be shown in my computer. Right-click and format.
