At the start of the rinse cycles, the cold water only trickles in. I've had to turn off the cold water for a few minutes and allow the trickle to stop, then turn the water back on. Now, this doesn't work. I assume the mixing valve solenoids aren't working. Is there a repair or do I need to replace the mixing valve?

I would take the mixing valve off and try to clean it. If that doesn't work then you will have to replace the valve.Hope this helps.

Rinse cycle water flows out to a trickle- regular wash cycle flows normal- water valve?

Flows out where , drain or into machine ? If into machine , Most washers have a cold rinse into machine . If your using hot fill and you get a trickle , then problem is a clogged screen at the valve or a bad water valve .

Cold water will only trickle into washing machine

Check your water pressure if thats good check the screens on your hoses, if thst good go to the water inlet valves that allow water into your tub

Cold water good for a few minutes then slows to a trickle. Shut off for a few hours and cold water good again for a few minutes. Inlets are clear. Is this normal behaviour for a dying valve?

Yes, it will fail soon. it is beat to go ahead a order a new inlet valve assembly asap. the pressure sensors that are housed in the valve assembly are failing.

Cold water in the rinse cycle of the washer just trickles

Sounds like cold water solenoid is not opening all the way, its easy to replace, and is found inside the wash machine where the hose connects

Water barely trickles out for rinse cycle

Hello,

It sounds like you have some buildup in the cold water valve screen. Where the hose connects to the washer there should be a screen inside the valve. Remove the cold water hose from the washer and clear any debri on the valve screen.

If this doesn't fix the slow cold water flow then you will have to replace the whole water valve assembly. The water valve is the piece that the hoses connect too and supply water to the washer.

If you have anymore questions about this please ask. I will be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks

Water filling oo last cycle

if only leaking on rinse cycles would suggest checking door seal for small tear as water level is higher on rinse.

Washer fills slow only in the rinse cycle

I had the same problem with my Kenmore Model 11022956102 washer and first thought that it was the water inlet valves. So I replaced them, but found the problem continued. After about 25 seconds into the rinse cycle the water only trickled in. Checking with a voltage meter I found that I lost 120V at terminals 3 & 5 on the washer temperature controller after 25 seconds. Even though the wiring diagram doesn't show the water temperature control board, since it's full of resisters and capacitors, I figured it was the most likely problem. So I ordered a remanufactured board from Parts Simple (#3407125), received and installed it. The 17 year old washer is now working fine once again. I hope this helps someone with the same problem. /s/ Paul
