If its a case where you can receive calls and texts, and send texts no prob but you cant call out then its a caller-id problem with your mobile service provider. Ring up the support team and have them reset your caller-id on their end. Once done, power cycle the phone and the phone shoild call outbound no problem.
try the following
send a text with the phrase remove voicemail divert to 150 will cancel the voicemail divert
(sending a text with the phrase voicemail divert to 150 will re-enable the voicemail service).
if that doesnt work ring EE customer service they can do it for you
Because you mentioned that it is a spread problem between you and friends, I'd assume this is a network issue and not one of your phone(s). Try contacting your carrier and asking them what's going on, if there's any outages, etc. Explain what is happening and they should be able to help you.
The first thing to do, however, would be to power off your phone, Remove the battery, Remove the SIM card - Clean the sim card with a soft cloth and place it back in. Reboot your phone. Test calling out. If that fails, call your carrier.
Issue is not with your phone.. Your wife's phone or network might have a problem.. Wat about the msgs sent to others from your wife's phone.. Check the message centre number in your wife's phone.. If it's correct(Find it from the network provider) remove it and restart the phone. Or try entering the same message centre number. (No proofs, but stillthis cliche works... Try restarting the phone, remove the sim and insert it properly again.. Use a different sim in your wife's phone, send a few msgs, check it works.. then try sending msgs from your wife's sim from her phone).. Reply back if it works...
Menu -> Call Register -> Received Calls -> Options -> Add to scrn. list.
Calls from screened numbers will not ring on your phone, you will see the number on your screen with a dustbin symbol; messages from screened numbers will go silently to the screened messages folder.
hello there ....its quite simple...you need to call the customer care of Orange and ask them to register and activate your sim card ..it is free...just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....and your sim card number (19 digits mostly)on the back of your sim card the little chip that you put in your phone
that should solve the problem.....
you can also ask the for some freebies ...like text message ,photo and videos messages ...many companies promote them....always good to try something for free before you start using it ...lol
