Amana ACD106R has an error code E1 and will not operate

E3 is a generic 'Off Balance' code

If you receive an E3 Error code, your washer may be unbalanced. This could be caused by the washer being too tightly packed, or clothing not distributed evenly. This will usually occur during the spin cycle. Stop the spin cycle.

F8 is taking too long to fill. Check the filter screens on the rear hoses.

The F8 E1 or Lo FL error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door may be locked, and the control may be unresponsive.

clean your air filter.

My Maytag MVWX700XW1 washer does not spin, the lid lock light is flashing red and when I run the diagnostics, and check the Fault Error code I get F7 E1.
I would alos like to find the list of Fault Error codes.

Hi,
1. Unplug unit. 2. Hold down power button while plugging in unit. It will do a short self-test and then beep. leaving unit off. 3. Release power button and unplug. 4. Plug in again and turn on normally. This should last for about 720 hours, at which point the E1 error will come back and you need to follow the procedure again. (You might as well clean the air filter at this point just in case it really needed it...)

E1 error is a restriction of the air flow entering the filter area. It also could be a defective Printed Circuit Board AKA PCB. Try this Remove the front cover and check the temperature sensor and the ice sensor (This would be a black wire attached to a small sensor that is inserted in a small copper tube in the cooling coil). The temperature sensor would be the one in front of the cooling coil. Black wires also and has a shiny tiny thing at its tip. These two sensors could be damaged or has lost its connection to the main board. These error codes would likewise just sense these sensors also called probes here in the USA that communicate the cooling of the unit to the Electronic Circuit Board.
