Whirlpool Ultimate care II loud squeal

When the washer goes into rinse mode, there is a LOUD screach/squeal but the machine keeps running. Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated.

The drive belt may be loose, and slips on the pullys as it goes into higher gear. It may need replacing.

My washer will wash, rinse and spin but after it spins it makes this really LOUD grinding noise and shakes. What could it be?

Rebuilt transmission or bad coupler, to check coupler remove pump & motor from
transmission see if it is toast.

Loud noise (like a generator) when the washing machine goes into Rinse Cycle and Spin Cycle. What is wrowg with it and what parts needs to be replaced ?

Will it go through the wash cycle now? If it does, then it's more than likely the transmission. If it makes the noise in wash cycle now, it's probably the motor coupler.

Washer agitates off balance and makes a loud banging sound until movement stops at the beginning of rinse cycle, advice?

If it makes this noise in the agitate mode and not during the spin cycle, I would suspect that the transmission is going.

Washer won't drain, makes loud noise

This problem, or some variation thereof evidently is very common with these Whirlpool Washers!  I have same problem.  So far, best I have found is at  http://applianceguru.com/forum2/5958.html#
diagnosis by someone who knows.  What William Burk says there makes sense.  However, to get to the drive block there's quite a bit of disassembly required.  I am stopped because I cannot get the spanner nut off.  Hope this gives you some help toward finding a more comprehensive answer
